Project Engineer - Elk Grove Village
FPE is seeking a qualified mechanical engineer with knowledge of electronics, pneumatics and electromechanical control systems. Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. A sound working knowledge of AutoCad/Solid Edge is required, and experience in design and building is preferred. A clean driving record is a must. The project Engineer will be responsible for the design, detailing, assembly instruction and test procedures for value added pneumatic and electric assemblies. Duties will include ensuring timely, and cost effective designs to customer, client liaison, resource planning, production of assembly instructions and related documentation, technical calculations, BOM management in conjunction with Sales manager and Operation Manager, initial project related testing activities, liaison with outside sales staff, assembly department, suppliers and customers during project implementation, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements concerning the design and application of equipment used on the project.
